The world’s most fuel-efficient couple has done it again. John and Helen Taylor were determined to break the record for the farthest distance traveled on a single tank of fuel. They decided to attempt the record in the U.S. with a stock 2012 Volkswagen Passat SE TDI Clean Diesel vehicle equipped with a six-speed manual transmission.
Volkswagen of America today announced the appointment of Robert Martell, 54, to the post of Vice President, Customer Experience for the company. Martell, a 25-year veteran of Volkswagen in both the US and Canada has served in a variety of increasingly responsible sales and dealer-interfacing positions in his tenure at Volkswagen.
